Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream is influenced by his international reach. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. in Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and also released ADN as his first full-length album. Its Top Latin Albums chart ranked the album at 8. In the following year, he joined Ozuna for their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel for Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina the next year. The year 2021 was the first time he performed in a duo with TINI for her hit stream single Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo was raised in a musical family, his younger brother and his mother are each musicians. In interviews, Turizo has declared that music is an essential part of his life. As a child, he was taught how to play guitar, the piano and ukulele. The first goal was to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons in singing with an Cuban singer, he changed the direction of his career.
